my personal whiteboard for creative congress.

PROSPECTS III

a.k.a.Flooding in North Dakota
I’m using my sketchbook for a series called Prospects — an experiment to create an original weekly image, out of anything(s). This is the third installment, an original collage made from:
a satellite photo of North Dakota, an old French postage stamp (somewhere in there), a type arrangement by Hans-Dieter Buchwald, and a sketch for an unfinished painting by my daughter.

Into the Light

INTO THE LIGHT

This was a poster concept I designed for a conference called Into the Light hosted by the Mental Health Commission of Canada last year in Vancouver. The look was based on a collage of the mandala, which seemed to have the right meaning. Although not chosen, I liked this design concept best.
